PHP Error: Cannor start session without errors

If you get the above error (I got one when trying to install phpMyAdmin), then do the following

1. Find out what session.save_path is defined to in your /etc/php.ini
2. If the session.save_path is pointing to /var/lib/php/session/, then first check to see if this folder exists and if so give the right permission to which ever user/group is set to run httpd.
3. restart httpd and that should be it.
